I have some whitening gel and I was wondering if I could purchase a sports mouth-guard and use that instead of a custom made tray from my dentist…Would that work?

Its been 8 hours since i took off the whitening product and i feel as if my teeth start to hurt more and more. What can i do at home to stop the pain? i dont want to go out and buy anything, i just want to know something i can do at home to make this pain go away quickly.

There are sensitivity toothpastes that may help in the long run, but there’s not much you can do to take the immediate pain away. It will disappear after a day or two, but you could try sipping on some warm tea? I don’t know what the pain’s caused by so that may not work, but it’s worth a try.

I really want to get laser teeth whitening for graduation, but i have been using crest whitestrips and i haven’t noticed much of a difference- whether it be because they arent working or I just can’t tell because i use it on all of my teeth. If it really is the best, then does it hurt?
