Is laser teeth whitening really the only way to whiten teeth?

I really want to get laser teeth whitening for graduation, but i have been using crest whitestrips and i haven’t noticed much of a difference- whether it be because they arent working or I just can’t tell because i use it on all of my teeth. If it really is the best, then does it hurt?

  1. my mother and i both use Crest whitestrips and they work for us, however ours are professional level from our dentist and we have been using them every night. my teeth are noticeably more white for sure.

    First of all if you didn’t get the Crest Whiting Strip Supreme from your dentist you should try that. I saw excellent results from that, and it is more reasonably priced. There is bleaching trays you can have made by your dentist. They would take a alginate impression and make a mold of your teeth and that would be your tray.
    The whiting strips from your regular drug store do not have enough % of peroxide to notice a difference. The ones at the drug store have like 5-8%. And the whiting strips from the dentist is 15%. If you have the trays made I have used 20% in those.
    And yes it is uncomfortable I would start slowly and see how sensitive you get and then you get to bump it up. I do get sensitive when I beach so I have to adjust how I use them.
